Disaster Relief Training Event - Grand Strand Area - MAR 16TH

This event provides training for those who feel called to serve the Lord by meeting needs after a disaster. Classes are offered in the various ministry areas of disaster relief: damage assessment, children’s response teams, chaplains*, communications, feeding, flood response
(mud-out), chainsaw, rebuild, shower/laundry, administration. Additionally, an “Introduction to Disaster Relief” class is required of all new volunteers.

This day of training will include three class times, a general session, and lunch. BONUS: An additional “Introduction to Disaster Relief” class will be available on Friday evening (at no additional charge) for those that register for the Saturday training. This will allow new volunteers to take “Intro” on Friday evening and then take three ministry-area classes on Saturday.
