This 2 part training will help equip church leaders to realize the areas of poverty in their community, which is often beyond finances, and will help the church learn to address these hurdles. Our morning session, Poverty 101, will take you through the basics of learning poverty culture and common misconceptions about those in poverty. In the afternoon, Poverty 102 will dig a bit deeper to help you learn techniques and next steps for your church to engage in your community.

This training will be led by Mindy Jamison, who serves with her husband training SC church leaders in community engagement ministries.

You may join for both sessions or only one, depending on your schedule and needs. The cost is a flat $10 whether you attend one or both sessions - and includes your lunch!
