There are an estimated 200 refugees who have been coming into the Greater Charleston area every year. Lutheran Services Charleston office is housed at The Hub (home of Centerpoint Church at Remount) and is the front door of receiving and pairing up refugee families to churches and groups to provide care and assistance. These circle of welcome teams are vital to resettling and establishing these government approved refugees and immigrants. Help is greatly needed to form new circle of welcome teams and church leaders are strongly encouraged to attend.
